This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in IT Project Management (JLP), Enterprise Shared Services (JL), Information Technology (J).A successful candidate in the Business Specialist position will serve as a business specialist and IT contract management specialist, representing the IT organization in the management of technology contracts in the role of Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
Requirements:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSA qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) in the Federal service. Specialized Experience is defined as experience: 1) reviewing requirements for IT hardware and software needs to ensure business needs are met; 2) assisting in the development of statements of work (SOW) for contracts and services; and 3) reviewing work processes and identifying areas for improvements.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
