This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in the Program Management Office of the Chief Administrative Office (N).A successful candidate in the Management Analyst position will serve as a senior analyst and project manager responsible for planning, organizing, conducting, and leading projects, studies, and other initiatives to determine and improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of programs, systems, and processes.
Requirements:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSA qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, GS-12, in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) managing projects or programs to ensure compliance and complete policy initiatives; 2) participating in the development of organization-wide strategies for compliance with policy requirements; and 3) presenting or briefing management, staff, and senior executives on all aspects of assigned projects.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
