GS-13 - One year of specialized experience which includes performing work as a Program Manager responsible for oversight and technical work supporting Civil Works programs and operations, which include: 1) Planning projects for major river systems containing large, multi-purpose projects, such as navigation projects, large flood control projects, and environmental mitigation and restoration projects. 2) Control project schedule milestones, and 3) Budget planning. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????12).
