This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in Revenue Requirement, Repayment, and Financial Strategy (FTR) organization of Financial Strategy and Operations (FT), Finance (F), Bonneville Power Administration.


A successful candidate in the Financial Analyst position will serve as a senior Financial Analyst performing a significant technical leadership role on a wide range of strategic and operational financial analysis and planning requirements.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service.

Specialized experience for this position is defined as: 1 ) representing the financial interests of an organization in meetings and conferences to aid in understanding and support of program plans; 2) leading working groups to resolve critical problems in financial strategy, general program, contract or policy areas such as those in revenue requirement or cost recovery areas that impact future rates; and 3) identifying and meeting customer financial needs, promoting agency services, and improving and sustaining agency competitiveness.

"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
